GREEN SCHOOLS @ SOUTH EAST AWARD

The Green Schools @ South East programme was launched in July 2010 and is part of the South East GreenPlan

The Green Schools @ South East Award aims to recognize and honour Schools in the South East District for their efforts put in to carry out projects to protect and sustain the environment and to reach out to their students and/or the community on environmental issues.

For her Green efforts, Geylang Methodist School Primary achieved the following Awards from 2012 to 2014

Name

Eligibility Criteria

 

Certificate of Participation

All schools must satisfactorily organise a minimum of 2 school-wide projects/activities and/or community related environment projects/activities annually.

 

Certificate of Merit

Primary School Category:

Schools must satisfactorily organise a minimum of 4 school-wide projects/activities and/or community related environment projects/activities annually.

 

Secondary School/ Tertiary Institution Category:

Schools must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 2 school-wide projects/activities and 2 community related environment projects/activities annually.

 

Certificate of Excellence

Schools must sustain achieving Certificate of Merit for consecutive three years.

 

Certificate of Sustained Excellence

 

Schools must sustain two runs of attaining Certificate of Excellence.
